A few things to remember:

  • Downtime: New Hire training is self-paced. Some New Hires will take more time and others will take less. For those who finish courses and assignments early, there may be some downtime—this is ok! If there is enough extra time, they would benefit from getting to know the team, learning about team norms and expectations, or getting started on setting up credentials.
  • Offer support and assistance: We are covering the Experience-wide tools and their policies, introducing information about our Experience org, our teams, and their roles—it’s a lot of new information. We are encouraging them to reach out to the Experience Operations team, their New Hire Coach, or their Team lead with any questions. In addition, it’s possible they might reach out for help with an assignment or two.
  • The Experience Operations team is responsible for monitoring the New Hire’s participation, assignments and course completion for Thursday and Friday of boot camp week. The work will be a combination of self-paced (in TalentLMS), live Zoom meetings, and time working on assignments.
  • New Hire Onboarding will be confined to Boot Camp. After that, they are available for product and role training.
